Proper Ski Pressure?? Power Steering?

Was out for my 1st ride today with a 2012 Pro RMK 163 and was very impressed. This sled just wants to stay on top of the snow and keep moving!! :face-icon-small-ton

I know that turning the steering on this sled is going to be a whole lot easier than my M8 but I was surprised to find it was more like power steering!!

I found the ski's were experiencing some "drift" and felt they need a bit more "bite".

I am interested in reading your reactions to the very light steering and proper methods to increase the bite of the ski's.

Thanks in advance, Al

i may be wrong but i think to increase "bite" or ski pressure turn increase the spring tension on the front shocks. Not a 100% but think it may be right.

Less pre-load on the center shock (front track shock) to increase ski pressure.

what they said..but might try tightening the rear shock a bit as well or it may be a wheelie monster...I would tighten the ski shocks one full turn, loosen the frt track shock 1 turn, and tighten the rear track shock 1 turn..
