Not happy with the stock headlights on my 05 Chevy Crew Duramax. Looking at a set of aftermarket projector style. Anyone running a set of these? Do you like the nighttime driving performance ect? They certainly look cool enough.

I have a set of spyder projectors off ebay, they came with HID,s that were junk so I went to http://www.theretrofitsource.com/ and got new ballasts and they work great! The brights are way better than my ford stockers
i got a set of cheapo projector headlights on my 05 silverado. they look cool but they didn't seem much brighter until i junked the cheap bulbs that came in them for some higher end bulbs. like i said they were cheapos, i think i paid $150 for the set, so maybe a more high dollar setup woulda had better results.
Braaaap, Love the look of those on the Ford. But my major thing is better headlight performance with looking good a very close second. With that being said, I also hate buying something and haveing to Macgyver it to make it like I want after. I'd rather pay more up front and have nice brighties right outta da box.
