7) Re-attach the seat. The trick is to tape a piece of plastic to cover the Velcro that locks the seat in place. Once the seat is in its proper location, you can reach through the back compartment in the seat and remove the taped plastic so the Velcro can

Really great, detailed instructions for anyone doing this project. I did this to my 2013 XF High Country 800 a month ago before seeing this. Just an FYI, I did not remove the gas tank to do it and had no issues, if anyone else is doing this post swap.
