What gear ratio did you go with?

Stock for the first two rides. I feel it is geared too low so I ordered a couple larger top gears to try. Both Tom at TKI and Jack Struthers recommended trying the 27 top gear first which is a 2.15:1 ratio. Carl's was putting 163-3" tracks on Pro's last year and with the driver change it was a 2.10:1 ratio which worked very well. This year's 3" track is lighter yet and with the new motor should pull the 2.15 with ease and potentially higher track speed. With the current stock ratio it felt like the clutches were shifting out and it was topping out early leaving some performance on the table. It has always seemed to me that if you gear down too much it can lead to increased chance of trenching. Certainly the suspension plays a part in that to a high degree......I also added preload to my rear skid shock.

Did you happen to weigh the stock parts vs the tki parts? Checked there website they don't give weight savings numbers.

No miles on it. Install was nice and easy. Bought direct from Tom Kobza at Haydays. Great guy and top notch customer service. Haven't seen a negative review on the belt drive and have some friends running them. I am sure this will be a great mod.
