I just got my new pro and was running it for a little heat sink time before the snow sticks and noticed that it seems to vibrate way more than my old M7 or even my spare 600 Mt. Max. Will this break in or do I need to get the clutch balanced or take in to the dealer? I do not remember my M7 vibrating like this when I got it new. Thx.

yeah they do seem to vibrate some, polaris says its from the way stiffer chassis...does it go away at rpm? if so it should be fine....
Yep, feels fine once you move. A little more motor moving than your 6 or 7 too.
Just off idle it shakes like heck but once you spin her up it smooths right out.

lots of 2011 owners noticed this too last year. mine smooths out with rpm and no problems last yr.
I asked the same question about mine last year. but like everyone has said you will never notice when your actually riding it on snow!
yeah I noticed mine vibrated quite a bit... on idle and low rpm, but once your moving and higher in RPM it goes away. Also noticeable when the engine comes down to an idle.
I actually took a video the other day. I was inspecting the motor mount area as I ordered the updated 12 motor mount kit hoping it would help with the engine shake. I noticed that the mounts are somewhat worn for only having 1300 miles on the sled.
The video only has the recoil side, but the mount behind the primary on the other side is the most worn.
Don't mind the audio... video was taken on my cell phone. Also right in the beginning my hand was on the sled shaking the video

they have got pushed back 3 times on me, 11/11 is the last date I was given. IS that video close to what every body else has been seeing???
My 11 vibrates a ton at idle. I had my GoPro mounted on my bars for a while last year and it vibrated so bad it turned the camera off at times
I have always been told its because of the stiffer chassis. They shake alot right out of the crate.
I have 3 2012 Polaris Pro's that I will set-up the Balance Machine on this week. And that vibration will be gone. These 3 sleds are coming to me with no miles to have the complete engine balance. Then I will be able to sell Engine Balance kits for all 2011 & 2012 Pro's. And you will ust have to send your primary clutch. Also I now have Engine Balance Kits for 900 cc Polaris's and ech of these guys for post the results on the Snowest forums including the 900's. THAT VIBRATION ISSUE IS TOTALLY RELATED TO THE UNBALANCE IN THE CRANK ASSEMBLY.
