Has anyone put PRO-TAPERS off of a Dragon or Assault onto a Edge chassis machine. Right now my 02 has about 6" of piviot block and riser I want to put PRO-TAPERS on it for my kid and bars on my buddys '04 Escape. How about a better price on the PRO-TAPER BARS Polaris wants 136$.

I AM WORKING ON INSTALLING A SET ON MY 03 ESCAPE-THE PROBLEM WILL BE THAT THE STRAIGHT SECTION OF HANDLEBAR IS A LITTLE TO SHORT FOR THE BRAKE CYL SWITCH HOUSING AND PROB. IS FOR THE THROTTLE BLOCK ALSO-I FILED OUT SOME MATERIAL IN THE HOUSING AND ADDED ABOUT .5 INCH TO THE LT HANDLEBAR END (THE HANDLEBAR HOOK WILL HOLD IT TOGETHER) I ALSO HAVE A CMX THROTTLE BLOCK SO I HAVE THE ROOM ON THE RT SIDE. OTHER THAN THAT IT SHOULD WORK.

hey i have put pro tapers off a dragon on my 2002 edge the only things u have to do is lengthen all the cables and then u have to modify the left switch housing to fit on the bar and i also have a 2inch riser under the bars but other then that they work great
The Polaris bars are the same as the Pro Taper CR 50 mini bends. The only diiferene is the CR version doesnt have the cross bar that has the holes to mount the mountain bar but they are oly about 80$ too. If you going to all the trouble of doing new bars I would also go with all pro-x style master cyl and throttle block. Heres a pic not exactly what u want but u get the idea.
