Anybody have pics with boss seats on the new pro's.I'm thinking of getting one and haven't seen many pics.would like to see a pic standing behind the sled

I have one, but no pics. It does narrow from the base toward the back of the bag portion. Watch out for zips, even the new 2011's are finicky, and need to be treated gently. Love the fit, tho, and the reduced rear height as the bag portion tapers down, easier to toss my leg over. Go Big Parts have some pics on an IQ, FWIW.
2011 seat is softer than the 2010. They do break in, takes about 500 miles. Every boss I've had is the same that way. Not soft, but comfortable. And wider. Perfect width for my rear, when I'm sitting. Just easier to toss a leg over, for me...

Love the Boss products, except for the POS zippers being installed as of last 2 years. They were marginal before and now are just downright irritating. Nothing like being out in the middle of nowhere and have to figure out unique ways of storing all the stuff you have in a storage area after the zipper blows. Or, keeping pliers handy to open the zipper after the handle breaks.

Seat works great. I got it primarly for the added storage. I think it more comfortable than stock also. Never did weigh them both, but boss may be under a pound heavier.
I have the same seat on my 08. Love it.

I'm with you. I've bought 2 Boss seats for my Doos from Paul and LOVE them. I won't be buying one for my Pro unless they ditch the lame zippers and all the dumb compartments - this isn't a womans purse for crying-out-loud!!! Paul, you need to straighten those guys out!!!

I've tried. I pushed hard for the waterproof YKK zippers. They went to those this year but there was still a few problems. I pushed them to a new LED that they now use. It is nice to have some storage.
I bought one from you, Randy. Your service was great. Like the seat, the YKK's are little time bombs, and that's even after treating them like changing a diaper on a preme. Once the U zip blows in the field, it's boy scout time figuring how to get the stuff back to the truck without poking a hole in the flap and zip tying it in frustruation. Not my first Boss, either. They just can't figure it out. And boss has probably lost a hundred sales just from this thread. Good luck.
Yeah, I don't get how my YKK waterproof zippers can work so well on my True Adventure Gear Backpack and are so hard to work on my seat. The only thing I can thinks is the boss material is so much stiffer, and they are down next to the tunnel so can get snow build up and ice up.
Thawed in a garage, they work. In the snow with ice buildup for two days, frozen, overnight, and be gentle on her, or she's gonna jump teeth. It's definitely the ice combined with the waterproof seal.

I had a boss seat on my 04 900 Cat the first year they changed to the present style. Liked the comfort and shape of the seat, but the zippers lasted about 2 rides, Boss said we will make it right at the end of the season, their plan was for me to pay shipping both ways or maybe upgrade to a new cover for 50$ + whatever it took to have someone put it on.... I had the feeling they were trying to make money on me twice after selling me an inferior product. I sold the sled and told the new owners to deal with boss if they wanted too. New sled has no boss seat. Next one won't either.
