pro rmk stock track swap to 3"

Can anyone tell me if its possible to swap out the stock 2.4" track on a 2012 pro rmk 800 155" with a 3" track without changing anything or can it just be installed and go?

7 tooth 3.0" pitch drivers required

2012-- you need to modify the chaincase also.

If you need to replace the track IMO put a CAMSO 2.5 extreme and you will not have to change drivers and you will not be sorry as that track will pull with the AXYS 2.6 all day long!

I've got a 3" on my '12 Pro. As stated, it does require 7 tooth drivers. You can get involute drivers to prevent adding anti-stab, but extrovert drivers are much better at preventing ratcheting.

You'll also need to modify the chaincase to clear the track on 7 tooth drivers.

If you don't want to go through all the trouble, just get the 2.5 Camso that gtwitch said. That track is a direct swap.

For max improvement with least amount of work, I also recommend the Camoplast Extreme 2.5" 155x2.5 2.86 pitch center punched for Polaris, its a swap-and-go track for stock drivers... 9105M for the 163 version. Shop around a bit and you can get one for around 650 or a bit less new. Or once in a while they come up on snowest forums for sale.

Thanks for the info guys!
It's what I run... ever since my wife said the stock track downhill braking on her series 5.1 on her almost-new-at-the-time 700 Dragon wasn't good especially on set up snow, and then I rode it and wow she was not kidding... my buddy's 2003 Skidoo with stock 159x2 track could slow down and basically stop on the trail on one particular downhill run, I ended up going right on by no matter what I did (and I'm not an inexperienced rider), luckily the area below was clear too. Swapped out the track to the 9104M and no more problem. Lugs roll over too easily on the stock track for my preference.
