Pro RMK Reeds

I installing an Indy Dan long rod motor in my 2011 RMK 800 and my reeds have couple chips on the ends but they look like they still seal up good. Is it worth replacing them now. And should I stay with factory reeds or go with aftermarket? Thanks

Replace now. For the money and durability, OEM seem to work well.

I always had issues with durability with V-Force, better luck with Boyesen, on the doos, with and without their cages. I doubt there's any hp there with a stock motor, cheap and tough work better for me.

I'M with Reg2, I have had better luck with Boysen over VForce, But not really bad luck with VForce. Think that the Boysen Reeds on the stock reed cages are my choice at this time. Do it now while it's apart, yes, you can so it in the chassis, but!!
