no corn fuel in it and the higher the octain the less chance of DET.

double check tps ,buddy here in Bozeman had his 08 rebuilt last year and dealer did not tighten well enough . Three rides later it started acting the way you are describing. My 09 did it also after being at dealer. They loosen and move changing the timing I think.

octane boost is straight ethanol. try running a gallon of race gas.

It was a bad exhaust temperture sensor.
