Pro RMK clutch kits and performance

Hi sorry if this has been asked but I did a search with no luck. Thinking of doing a little work to my 2014 pro 800 155 this season. I am going to do a top end kit(not sure which yet) but want to do a little more while I'm in there. Leaning toward a Bikeman durability kit, head kit and pipe and PC5. Just wondering if this would be a good set up and which clutching you'd recommend for 6000+ feet. Thanks!!!

It will all depend on where you end up with mods. Mods don't always give the results you are looking for. Especially if you are mixing components. Clutching is a black art and to be honest needs to be tuned specifically to your mod setup.

In line with what TRS said, get it all from one shop and go with their recommended setup. That is the only way you can get good performance out of stacking components, short of dynoing a bunch of combos and trying out different clutch setups.

Who is riding your elevation/area? Who kicks butt? Buy what he/she has.

You couldn't pay me to run bmp motor anything. There are other builders out there with loads of happy people and proven results. Your call though.

I was also looking at the RKTEK pistons and the MTNTK kit?? Or maybe even a rktek drop in head/piston kit with an slp pipe?

Call Jeremy at Surpreme Power sports. He's done a lot of rkt drop in kits with SLP pipes and has clutching combos. Tell him Eric Davis from Colorado sent you.

Old experiences or recent?

Rode one of their 900 cats last year and was super skeptical going in and was believer by the end of the day. Very impressive motor and was funner than the 2 pumpish gas turbos there the same day. Would like to try their Poo 860.

Old. Been there, done that not doin it again. I believe a person should find a performance company that lives and breathes where they ride the majority of the time. That also has great customer service. Searching through these forums will give you enough information about what is/isn't working. It's up to the individual to decide who they spend their money with. That's just my 2 cents. Which probably isn't worth much more than that...
