Wow! Are people hating on the pro already! Are there any problems/troubles with it yet? looks good to me but it is a new model from polaris. Hope they got it right..

I don't believe there are problems but it is not what was expected out of the box. They're gonna need some tweaking. Rode last week with a buddy who got one and asked him how he liked it. He said it's pretty sweet. Feels light, power is down but runs smooth. I said let's switch for awhile. I got off and felt sorry for him. After riding my sled, he said, well maybe mine isn't so good after all. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder and what you are comparing it to.

wow seems like some people are having a heavy flow, :mmph: how about "yeah that sled does look pretty sweet hopefully it works out for polaris!"

ps... dont forget about the "recommended tunnel and rail reinforcements"

guess you doo riders forgot about the piston ring issues and jackshaft issues, belt issues and handlebar warmer issues that you didnt have either....
the only issue i had was hand warmers, jackshaft was a recall.still have stock 166 belt, didnt have piston ring probs, ground under tank, tail light harness recall.reflash.

they all got bugs.just gotta deal with them or buy a phazer.

rings were the dragons.

I worked for a ski-doo and polaris dealer in Colorado and can asure you that there are plenty of lemons on both sides. At least if the constant flow of both to the service dept is any indicator. I ride a turbo dragon and I love it, before that I had a 09 XP and I loved it. Both def had thier issues as all sleds do. I really hope the Pro and the etec work great this season. There will be both in our riding group so I will see the side by side heads up competition all season. I have yet to ride with the etec or the pro this season. WIll chime in soon though....lots of snow falling in the mountains

X2. I can't believe how is thread has been turned into a pissing match. The whole intent of this thread is to make a general statement that this a good thing for all mountain riders. I ride a 2010 summit x and I love it, but I don't have such an issue if another manufacture comes out with something better or not.

Uhhh....the Doo did have a lot of ring problems for a couple years there...like 08-09 or something...

But, I sure do remember a lot of Doo threads complaining about rings.
