My 2011 800 pro started running bad last March, just got off the phone with my dealer. Polaris thinks they figured out the problem. If you are running non-ethanol fuel you must run the correct resistor, same if you are running ethanol fuel check your resistor. The resistors change the mixture by 8%, change your plugs and put in the correct resistor and your sled should run better.

They put all this new on mine before finding this problem.

I switched mine out on Sunday and it definitely ran better.

Sounds like your dealer overlooked something extremely simple. The 2012 has a single plug that you pull and 180 depending on what type of fuel you run so you dont have to carry 2 plugs around.

Is this different than the resiteor that came with the 2011?

IIRC you plugged it in for one grade of fuel and unplugged it for the other?

for the 2011 they came with 2 of them. one for ethonol fuel and one for premium. and the 2012 plug has 2 plugs in one. like they glued the two plus together
