pro motor swap

It sure is... go to the Member Build section of the forums... look for FastTrax (FTX) rush mod... you will have more info than you know what to do with... it was a 700 CFI-4... but they would all be the same. Not too bad if you have all the electronics to go with it.

Depending on the engine...the pipe may be a bit challenging...

What are you pondering??

.

Thank you for the information. I am thinking about turning my 09 assault into a pro. If I do this it will be complete swap. Front and rear suspension motor and all electronics. I will just part out whatever is left of iq chassis. I think my biggest problem will be finding a pro for a reasonable enough price to make it worth it.

I looked at ftx's build, pretty cool. I wonder if I will have to get the custom chaincase that he used? He uses the same intercooler that I have, pretty happy with that. I didnt think I would beable to use my intercooler. So I basically need the motor plate and possibly the chaincase

I might have a line on a wrecked 700 dragon. Thinking of doing this since that motor is bullet proof if I can find a clean roller for the right price.

Erin Beukleman has done it the last few years for one of his hill climb race sled.

What about the pipe?

I dont see the pipe being a issue at all. Phil Stanley, pcs performance. He is a local guy who builds custom pipes. I have done a little research and I think this will be a great summer project. Tough part is gonna be finding a roller pro that is reasonably priced.
