I have one of their kickstands on my KTM. Its been a great product. My concern with that bumper thing would be snagging a tree, that would end bad.

im more interested in the adapter. I would like ride a 500xc-w with an sx kit on it. I find that to be the hardest sell with the sx kits is that it must be on a linkage bike.

Might have to try one of the rear grab handles.
I have a side stand and have foot pegs, love the quality but you pay for it and that's alright with me.

PMB/Fastway makes excellent stuff. It may be more spendy but it lasts year after year. I'm on my 4th season with most of the initial products I ordered from them.

I spoke with Dave @ TS last week and he said that they have a fit kit to work with PDS bikes for the SX kit as of last year.

I forget which kit he said, but might be worth checking out!

Also, I have their kickstand on my husaberg and it's really a great product!

awesome thanks! good to hear they have fit kits! I wish they would list it on their web site.

An important note about the SX kits and PDS bikes:
2015 SX linkage was re-designed to allow it to work on a PDS bike.
2014 and previous SX kits would require (among other potential things) that adapter that Pro Moto Billet manufactures; in order to work on a PDS bike.

The Fit Kits we build at Timbersled will not adapt a 2014 or older SX kit to a PDS bike.
Please check the SX Fit Kit chart to verify we have one for your bike. Also, the SX will NOT work on a 70 degree bike- the 390/450/570 versions.
Hope that helps.

Why we do what we do.

I just finished installing the 2012 Timbersled SX kit on my 2014 KTM 500 XC-W.
I ran that adaptor all season last year on my 2008 KTM 530 XCRW and it worked great! That is the main reason I decided to build them and offer them to other people. I wanted to use my PDS bike, not a linkage bike and there was no solution at the time...."necessity is the mother of all invention"

I also got tired of trying to lift the SX kit without a handle and I wanted to curse every time I did... so...I built one.
I used the lift handle last season as well and I never had any problems with it hanging up on tree branches. You will not even know it is there, until you need it, then you will really appreciate it!

The rear lift handle for the sx kit looks like a great idea from Fastway. I wouldn't even worry about snagging anything with it since it is located in a relatively safe location.

I helped a customer fit a '13 SX kit on a 2008 200 XC and the PMB Offset adaptor worked great.

The challenging part can be getting the gears to line up, but it's not by any means impossible. Patience and knowing someone with a lathe goes a long way.

There is a guy that has a practically new '14 SX Kit listed in the classifieds. (yes, it's me!)

I installed one on my 2014 SX.

It is so nice to be able to move my bike around and not struggle. It is stout enough for a 230lb guy to stand on and nothing bent. I love it. This $300 handle is kind of like the $300 adventure pegs. Do you have to have it, no. Do you really want it after using it, YES!!!
