PRO Handlebar Hooks?

So, i was looking at the polaris sleds, and i notice that on the pro's they have handlebar hooks that go 90* straight down on the ends. Arctic cat has the bent ends of the bars that go down at something close to a 45* angle.

I was wondering how the 90* hooks work, i was thinking about putting them on my protaper bars. if they will work. I like the way they look.

After having 45°s in the past, I can now say I like the 90° much more.

X2!!! Got on a sled the other day that still has the 45's and felt STRANGE!!!! I'll never go back!

How do these handlebar hooks attach to the bars? Will they work with my pro-taper bars?

They mount the same way the 45's do. Yes they will slip right in the end of your bars. Should take about 10 mins to switch them over.

They are strange at first but I liked them...for awhile. Then I notice that ice built up on them because of the opening. They also have a tendency to catch on your jackets and gear (don't even wear a hoodie in the spring!). I went with the RSI bars with their bar ends and used heated grips out to the bar ends. Works good but not quite as much grab as the 90 degree ends. To each their own.
