Pro Handle Bar Angle ?

I know they are marked on the bars, what do you find works best ?

I set them up almost perfectly straight up and down +1 if I recall

From what I see most riders keep them further back. I know the cats liked them low and forward, the pro is way new to me

I think this is a loaded question. Bar setup is really a personal preference.

It all depends on snow and terrain for me. For the most part I prefer my sled to "wheel" slightly behind the rear centre of gravity. That's where I am comfortable with this chassis

After driving the 121, 136, my 144 assault, and my Pro,they are all slightly different. The 144 and up being more similar to each other, and the 121-136 being similar to each other

I like bars on my pro in the -1 -2 setting, and a 3 inch riser

Next that brings up height and weight. It changes balance in a hurry. Play with it.

IT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL EVER KNOW

Personally, I've messed around with settings from +1 forward to 0 (in line with steering post) and so far I like it at 0 to about +1/2.

Anything fwd or rear of the "zero" position and you begin to swing the bars rather than turn the bars.

Being able to turn the bars on the steering post axis is one of the strong-suits of the PRO chassis... (and one of the last generation of Cat M-sleds as well)

When you put a riser on the bars, even though the steering post on the PRO is fairly vertical... you'll naturally begin to move the rider aft... which means you'll have to compromise on this...

If the stock bars are the right height for you with no riser installed (or slightly shorter bars) ... then, my recommendation, and the one that I run is to set it at "Zero"... but as Mickey said it can come down to preference and what you are used to.

My Doo friends that have switched over to the PRO set the bars very fwd when they got the sled as it made the sled feel more like the XP that they left.... the handles bars would "swing" more... but now, as they ride the PRO and get dialed-in on their new chassis... they are finding themselves moving it back closer to zero.
