dealer from carls cycle was out in halfway yesterday with one of the new 2012 pro 600 155s. he found me in the sno park and asked me if i wanted to take if for a spin.:face-icon-small-sho
all i can say is wow! turned effortlesly, power that came on right now, and just super fun. got to ride the 11 pro 800 the day before, and i would go as far as to say the 6 felt like it actually had more get up. grab a handfull and youd better be hangin on. nice sled! really did not want to give it back.

i rode one in West Yellowstone yesterday and it was not even close to my 800 i have an 2010 600 rmk right now for the wife and the chassis on the new one felt good but the power was down!~!!

he said it was stock, but maybe they have done some clutching on it i dont know for sure. talked to the guy that i was riding with that owned the pro 800, he also rode that 600, and he said that it felt like it was right with his sled. never got to do an actuall side by side comparison, just know that the 600 felt like it had plenty under the hood.

Rode the same 2012 Pro 600 from Carls all day in McCall yesterday in 30 inches of fresh powder. The sled is stock. Drag race accross Brundage resevoir approx 18 inches od dry powder, 165 lbs on Pro 600 155, 225 lbs on pro 800 155, 235 lbs on 08 700rmk 155 piped and clutched. 600 and 800 neck and neck for first 100 yds then 800 slowly pulled away, 700 not evan close. On the hill the 600 feels way light and is the easiest sled to throw around I have ever rode in 23 years. The 600 does not have near the torque in the steep and deep as the the 800. Closer to the 700 but not quite as much. the 600 with the coil over rear gets up on top of the snow, as do all the Pros, alot better that the 700 or the IQ Raw chassis. I currently ride the 08 700 rmk 155 with a pipe and clutch work. It runs very well for what it is and in 3 years of riding the sled I have only wanted for more track and more power twice, 30+ inches of powder, for the kind of riding we do (technical boondocking). With all that being said, If I were to choose between the pro 6 and my 7, the decision is VERY SIMPLE, Pro RMK 600.

Bummer. I was at Halfway that day but didn't see the Carls' Gang. Too bad as I was on a 2010 Carls' "600" as well.

Good to hear....man if I had an extra 12K sitting around I wouldn't even have to think about buying one of these as a 2nd sled.
