Prince George Area?

Just wondering if anyone has been out to the North Fraser area or Bear lake area yet, if so how was it? Is there enough snow out there yet? Thanks for any info. We are heading out this coming weekend for a first ride on new sleds and dont want to really hit the mtns for the first ride. Also thinking about Barkerville since it is pretty easy there anyways, with some hills to play on. Thnkas again for any info.

I was out close to bear lake today breaking in a new sled, thats about all it was good for, last week it was supposed to be alright not this weekend it was wet mush and melting quickly. I sure hope we get winter soon this is a bunch of crap weather. Barkerville would be better except the trails are pounded there, like i say it was good to break a sled in, i dumped of at the old winton global mill not to many have been around that area yet.

was not plowed last weekend went for a short ride snow was wet not allot of tracks yet, here comes the snow winters just a little late this year.

I would say not enough snow...

Snowing pretty good here in Prince as I write that but not enough for me... I'm heading to Mackenzie saturday maybe Powder King sunday, decent snow there apparently. My first ride of the season anyway...

Prince George won't worth it I think this W-E.

Snowwww !

Going back on what I said up there ! It snowing pretty good ! Bit more than a foot downtown. Still coming down !!!

Let it snow !

Maybe there's gonna be enough to ride around ! Watch for landmines... !

Watched a little of your action on youtube, by landmines do you mean running into steel gates? Looks like the snowhawk faired out ok.

I would imagine its not too bad out north of p.g. i went back barney creek way a couple weeks ago and the snow was fairly deep but very wet things would have changed by now, i am just wondering last year i went further back that way and the road was de-activate the snow was deep so we could'nt get around it everyone got stuck but that was last year. Has anyone been out that way i wan't to go out probably boxing day if anyone has been back there lately could they give me a update. THX Merry Christmas.

ya i went a ways down there its been a few weeks it was close to the same 700 rd wasn't plowed should be a good back there heard there was lots 20k or so back, i haven't rode back there much is there some good area's back in there?

Good riding 30 to 40k back but there has to be lots of snow. Never thought I would be scared to drop into a cut block but there is some steep ones back there. Still debating heading in there on Friday.
