Priming oil pump

open the bleed screw and get oil all through the pump. Then pull the pump off, chuck the pump in a drill, put the drill in reverse high gear and let er rip!

I have never had to use a drill however it would work. Just make sure there is no air in the pump or lines. Use the bleed screw on the pump to assure its all oil in the lines. You will be good to go.

Bleed the pump from the bleed screw. Then you need something long to reach the pump arm or pump linkage. Coat hanger, or wire etc. i use long mechanical fingers. Then with sled idling, pull up on the arm or linkage and let it pump at high flow for awhile. You can do it a couple of times, or as needed to remove any air bubbles or whatever.

Sweet thanks guys. Had to pull my motor after the mag side crank bearing went out. While I'm in there im doing bmp fix kit and vforce reeds. Just wanted to make sure I bled the lines for no air bubbles

This also works. I started to do this but it takes so long to get the oil through the lines I got scared lol! I shut the engine off and primed it with a drill
