Primary Weight / Boost

I run about 7lb boost and ride about 10k +- and have my primary loaded up with 72.3 grams. Runs perfect 8200WOT. Now lets just say one day I wanted to put some race fuel in and run 10 lb boost, how bad would it over-rev. I have the rooster adjustable weights but is there a "rule" for pounds of boost / grams of primary weight. I have found over the years that 1 gram is equal to about 150 RPM's in most cases. Also if I where to add the extra boost and was going to add X amount of weight is it better to add that weight closer to the pivot point of the weight or out on the toe? Yhanks in advance.

I'll take a wild guess and say 76 gr, but problem is the power vs boost is not a linear curve, ie 5-7 hp difference will not equal 8-10 psi jump power wise. I'm finding that 9 psi and up power goes up a LOT and the sled is harder and harder to clutch perfect. (just become more critical) But i'd start at 76-78 and see how it goes, then try the 44-48 side of the helix. imho

oh, with the turbo so far i've had better luck adding at the toe end for higher boost

TTT...

Anyone else have a good rule of thumb on primary weight amounts given X lbs of boost? I'm also in interest in people experience with the adjustable weights...
