primary spring

Hello all I broke the primary spring on my mountain max and ordered a new one from my dealer and he got me the wrong one. My question is my old spring had a pre-load of 40 a rate of 2.50 and total force of 123. The one he got me has a pre-load of 30 a rate of 3.00 and total force of 129. Does anyone know what this will make my sled do?

it will lower the engagement and maybe make a difference in shift out rpm. you might loose 400-500 rpm on engagement. you could use some engagement shims to make up the difference. the shift out rpm might go up a little, iti s pretty close.

Your engagement will be about 2-300 rpm,s lower & running rpm,s will be about 200 rpm,s higher.
