If it was me, At this point I would stand back and yell at it at the top of my lungs, I would call it an "afterbirth eating sumbich!!!!!!!!!"

Ok, one more time. If you follow these steps, you will never use a clutch puller again!! I found this method after bending a couple of pullers, heating, beating, letting sit overnight, etc.. Tried grease too, just made a big mess!!
1. Prop one side of sled up so it is at a 45 degree angle.
2. With clutch bolt removed, pour water into clutch hole until is spills out.
3. Wrap puller threads with YELLOW teflon tape (yellow teflon tape is for gas connections and is thicker).
4. Start turning puller in. Since doing this, every clutch I have pulled has came off before the puller even bottoms out.
5. Ear plugs and safety glasses optional. Best with sled with a belly pan, cause it comes off like a ton of bricks and scares the $hit out of ya!!
Good luck!!
use water, much cleaner....and put thread tape on the clutch puller, it'll pop right off.
Wow, this thread has me rolling. I am in a cubicle trying to be quiete and my cheaks are starting to hurt. Its like someone telling you a joke in a meeting or at church.
Your lucky you have the old clutch bolt out. My 97 rmk still half the clutch bolt rattling around inside. I cant even use a clutch puller, I have to wait till it falls off at 10000 rpms.
good luck,
I could never get a seal with the WHITE teflon tape, have always had to use YELLOW.
I know I feel better about this method versus beating on the end of the puller with a big hammer!! LOL
