Went out with a group yesterday for the first ride of the year, got 1 mile from truck and buddies 2010. Dragon with about 250 miles on it started to shake and then died. He tied to restart but. It seemed seized. Looked on clutch side and saw that the primary was just hanging by a thread. Good thing he still has warranty! Anyone seen this before?

Another problem

What causes this?

I have a '07 600 HO and starting to wonder about it.

The torque specs use to be 225ft lbs for the jam nut and 200ft lbs for the spider . They are now 290-310ft lbs for the jam nut and 280-300 ft lbs for the spider .

It's still a P85 , so what's changed ? How many toy shops even have a torque wrench that goes that high ?

Than top it off by tearing it down ? how many guys can break it down without using a cheater bar not to mention a four foot one ?

Not to mention breaking it down without bouncing on the breaker ?

Any one got a video of how to break one down ? I'd like to but I think I know the outcome .

It's like a one time deal from the factory , either it will or won't , the odds are increased after since it more than likely needs a shim job .

There is alweays the option of a an extension for the torque wrench. There are formulas on the internet that tell how long of an extension equates to a certain torque on the wrench.
