Priest Lake Video and Heli Rescue

We hit Priest Lake on our way back to Washington after an epic trip to Island Park in early March. Had the flu the day before and that was only the beginning of our luck. Special thanks to Tony at Sundance Mountain Lodge also Eric Hesse and Mike Schaffer for showing us around and helped us on the retrieval.

Of all things to break on my M8 turbo-the steering post........

This is the only time in the history of the world 2 M8's have broken down at the same time. Bad Karma

I'm sure that Panhandle Heli wants to thank you as well $$$$ hope you got a buy one, second one half price deal. On the brightside sounds like you had some good riding prior to the bad luck, better than happening at the start of your trip.

That is some bad luck indeed. Never heard of two helicopter rides in one day (I think most people would call it a day after the first!)

It was $1300 for him to come out and do one sled, he had just dropped my buddies at the truck when mine broke, so when I called him he was about to take off and leave, he still charged the same amount-so We split the $1300 bill.
