price for 2010 m8 SP?

What do you guys think is a good price for a 2010 m8 SP 162?

I found one very close to home for 8250 which I think is a good price, but after looking at it, it needs a little work. It has 600 miles, a snow stuff can, titanium clutch spring, and a heavy duty skid plate. However, a-arms on both sides are slightly tweaked, and it needs the rear lower bellypan on the right hand side including the exhaust dump. I can get all the parts for about $300. Otherwise the sled looks good, what do you guys think? Buy it, or leave it?

Having a hard time finding them reasonable here in ND. It seems like I'll have to drive 750+ miles to find one for under 9k.

Seems like you answered your own question. Buy it, fix it, and ride it. Work the guy if you can, but the A arms and belly pan are easy fixes.

Pass

Theres gotta be a reason the guy is selling it, above and beyond the obvious damage. Anytime A arms get tweeked other stuff can be damaged too. The season is almost over, the deals will start to appear soon.

I saw the same sled online wondered why it was so cheap, funny he didnt mention the damage in his add. Tough choice when a brand new one is probably going to be 9,000 to 9,500. Thanks for the info I wont be buying it now. But it might be a good deal for you since you live ND.

i"ve looked it over, theres no further damage to the bulkhead and such, just not sure what to do..idk if the deals are going to start to pop up or not beings the 2011's are unchanged.

good deals on em should be poppin up soon for the 2010's. i bought my 2010 hcr with 120 miles on it for 9250 about a month and a half ago!!!!

I would expect the 10's to be in a little higher demand since the prices went up for 2011 and the sled is pretty much the same minus BNG and the lack of the rear float on the Std models. There will always be late season deals to avoid summer flooring costs, but I don't expect dealers to order a lot of 2011's...especially since this winter has been so snowless across all the areas that NEED snow!

If you can get a good deal on a 2010 I would jump on it!
