Can anyone get me information on a place to purchase prescription snow goggles in Colorado?

I might be looking in the wrong place on that site, but it looks to me that those are just adapters for goggles. I'm looking for actual goggles that are prescription. I heard that there was a place in Colorado that sells them.

Hey i just bought my glasses and contacts from a new place here in castle rock colorado and he does indeed sell complete px's googles pretty cool really. Says they sell like crazy.
Heres there website
http://www.visionsource-castlerock.com/ It doesnt mention them on there but i was just in there today-one of the hippest up to date places around.

those arent bad, but these the whole lens is the perscription so its a lil better in my opinion. They are still tinted/tintable in the lens colors.

Pro-Vue prescription goggles are the best I have used, and I tried 3 different brands before finding Pro-Vue. He sells them in either Scott or Smith. With the Smith you can get snap on lenses in any of the color tints.

I had contacts 20 yrs ago and did not get along with them very well, I got some disposables last year and love them, they are so much thinner, they don't bug me at all and I see great, and no fogging. I only wear them when I ride though basically because I can't read too good with them. I carry a pair of dime store cheaters in my pack if I break down. $60 for the exam, and I am still using the trial pair of contacts. I also have pro vues with the fan (did not keep my glasses from fogging, helped some though) They goggles themselves rarely fog, I enjoy riding again.

I just broke down and tried contacts. They ROCK. If they aren't an option for you, i've heard Pro-Vues work well.

Good luck!

Not being able to see SUCKS

What are you doing riding with Pro-Vue Prescription goggles with glasses on? Isn't the idea of prescription goggles to ride without glasses? I am kind of lost with this comment.....

I've been riding blind for the past 4 years except for the spring when I can wear my sunglasses. Just last month I bought a set of Oakley L frame googles and can't stop praising them up. I thought about pro-vue goggles but the thing I like about these are that they are made to wear over a set of glasses. That way when I stop to eat or visit and take off my helmet I can still see, I don't need to put my goggles back on or carry a spare set of glasses. Only thing is that as already said you have to take off the googles when you stop or they fog up. Very small price to pay for being able to see in my mind. The guy who sold them to me said that smith and scott also make similar googles.

good luck.!

I don't have the prescription inserts, they were not recommended to me, I heard they did not work too well. I just have the fan pro vues, I bought them to try and keep my glasses from fogging up, that idea did not work too well either, But the contacts work great. The fan goggles do work pretty well keeping themselves clear.
