I'm a standard free member.

I was reading a public thread (http://www.snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=386404)

When I came to page 5, this message pops up in every quote box:
"Warning You have reached the limit of your Free Basic Member reading privileges. To continue reading this thread, please upgrade to Premium Member status."

Why is this? I should have unlimited access to public forums with my standard free membership.

My stats tell me, that the first 100 posts represent 97% of the total content on the SnoWest Forums.

So as a FREE member, you have access to the vast overwhelming majority of what we have to offer for no cost.

Upgrading to Premium does open up several other goodies as well though....

I think there are 1 or 2 forums where we placed NO limits at all.
Perhaps the Avalanche Forum?

In general there should be a hard limit.
The real question is why LOST is running as non supporting member???

How do you define non supporting member? I see lots of basic members on the site. Personal believe is that this should be like it was, a free site.

Shall we also go back to the same servers and software we had before where the site was OFFLINE/CRASHED every single week?
Where the site was MISERABLY SLOW on a regular basis?
Have you so quickly forgotten the dreaded "Database Error" that we saw all the dang time before?

Somehow people seem to FORGET the major problems the forums had before we asked people to voluntarily become premium members so we could pay for all the upgrades that make this place work now..
