Well, just got done with the post op consult.... EVERYTHING WENT FINE!!!!

My god was that like a skyscraper taken right off of our shoulders. I want to thank everyone for their prayers!!!! They helped him and the Dr's get through it and us get the news we were dying to hear. His spine had a 60 degree curve and is now straight. Plus, he's got Titamium in him so he's "lightweight".

Good to hear, make sure he keeps up on the pain medicine even if hes not in pain... Thats what my surgeon told me.. shoulda listened. Best of luck on the road of recovery also...

Well, sounds like we'll be out of here tomorrow already. He's been up and walking and even doing a few stairs. By the looks of his back and side I can't beleive he just isn't thriving in pain, but he says he doesn't have much. It'll be a slow go for a few months and he'll have to really be careful what he does.
