my buddy just finished installing a powerlites turbo on his 08 nytro.flashed it up and then died.it keeps doing this, seems like it's not getting fuel.he unplugged the rb3 and hooked it back up stock, fired right up and stayed running.plugged the rb3 back in and won't run,at least not for long.box screwed maybe?the instructions r very vague, not good at all so he's not sure if there is something else he's supposed to do to the bike box other than plug it in. thanks

PL service

I'd be surprised if you could'nt get an answer tomorow. They are top notch with service. Did you use existing wiring for fuel pump? If you didn't you will have a problem there.

There are two plugs coming outta the rapid bike harness that you could mistakingly hook up to the temp sensor plugs on the mag side of the engine. Wrong ones , they are identical to the plugs your supposed to plug into on the clutch side of the sled coming off the motor up by the rad. If you did mistake the two sets the timing is waay off.

mine did the same thing, it was sent to me from powderlites and was told it had a tune loaded but i went to start it up there was no fuel at low load and low rpms, and i had to add a hole bunch the tune was so far off it was crazy really lean through out the whole map. if you can check and see whats on it.

in order to check it you need the rapid bike software on your computer and the cable to hook it up to the sled harness. They also make a bluebike software that allows you to wirelessly do it. If you don't have it, maybe someone close to you does and you can borrow it till you get yours. I didn't order it with my kit, but did later, as it seems there are some tweaks that are going to happen along the way and I felt I needed to be able to put them on as they came out.

Double check to make sure that he has plugged the wiring harness into series with the key. Im sure its hooked up but just wanted to make sure.

Do you know how to check to see what the code means? Do you have the service manual?
no & no.

thanks for all the help guys.:beer;:beer;:beer;trying to get this thing running for a test and tune ride before the mtn trip.
