oh no! i may want to clean mine asap!! how much does it usually cost at a shop? possibly do it myself?

You can do it yourself..they are not hard to do...plus then you will get to know how they operate..not sure on how much it would be at a shop..but I like to know that they are clean and adjusted properly! For my own piece of mind :)

would u recommend me doing it myself? what would i have to do? supplies needed and things like that. thanks for helping me out!!!!!

Takes about an hour of shop time. Well worth it for your first time plus if they havent been done in a while they could really be crudded up. If you do it yourself make sure they go in the way they came out. It is possible to misalign them which aint good.

All you need is new gaskets. The valves only go in one way, can not mess up. Clean everything up, scrape off the valves the best you can and use carb cleaner to get everything else off. Make sure the bellows are in good shape and the springs are good. Very easy maintenance. Should be done once a year or about every 500 miles or so.

So I need to buy new gaskets is that wat ur saying? What are bellows? Thanks for your guys's help! I appreciate it! I love this forum. Very good info
