As far as I could tell there is no used market. I had to buy mine brand new.

Yah, but now you are killing my hope! 400 bucks for a header is a little steep, as that brings a total exhaust cost to about 800.....
Ruffy,
Do you really need another pipe???? Do you really need more power??
Did you know that Fall city is as bad as Sammamish!! Bunch of Harley riding Yuppies out there and a vagabond and now two.....

This thread kinda got a little sidetracked but the the exhaust topic is related. If you are considering a programmer which was the original topic whether it be the PCIII or RB3 or whatever IMO you pretty well have to buy the header in order to see any real hp gains. The muffler alone isn't going to give you everything the motor has to offer, I'm sure its an improvement but there is more. The top end restriction and power drop after 8300 rpm is caused by the stock header primary tubes being too small. Small primary tubes increase low end throttle response at the expense of top end power. I kicked around the idea of making my own header so I started doing some research on header design. Once you start looking there is a ton of info out there including formulas for calculating the optimum tube sizes based on displacment and operating RPMs. Long story short the optimum primary tube size for the Nytro is 1.42" ID. The stock header is about 1.25" OD It doesn't really matter what you do no more gasses can get out through that size of pipe. The dyno charts show the header really uncorks the engine. Excells header is 1.5" OD which is pretty well perfect. I don't know anything about the Hauck header but I was talking with a guy who had their setup and it works as well. Same principal.
