Similar to RapidBike, but has its own LCD screen for real time tuning etc.

Some good conceptual/instructional videos on youtube, am really interested in seeing what this kind of thing can do, RapidBike seems a little more complex to me, maybe it is just cuz I got to hook something else up or just my ignorance...

Part 1

Here is same guy giving exampl of impact PC on CBR 1000

Might just get a system install and start playing, but would rather have a couple folks learning and playing...

has built in storage of runs so that you can fine tune all the way up and down the RPM scale...it has ignition timing advances too, but that starts to make me nervous especially wihtout others helping figure this stuff out...

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need to buy all the parts seperately for the PCIII. The Rb3 has it all in 1 box for sure so you don't need all the add ons like the timing module, the LCD etc etc. What would be the final price on the PCIII all loaded up? I think the RB3 is in the 800 range.

you can run a USB cable from the PCIII just like a RB3 so you dont need the LCD but makes it nicer/easier...

PCIII add-on modules

-Ignition Module
-Quick Shifter
-Color LCD display
-Multi-Function Hub

We run exclusively Dynojet products on naturally aspirated and boosted sleds. I actually have a sale going on right now.

-Power Commander: $300
-Ignition Module: $305
-LCD Screen for datalogging: $265
-Multifunction Hub with Speed Sensor hook up: $106
-Wideband Commander with LCD Cable: $330

You don't have to buy everything at once. You can start out basic and add from there if you like. If you hooked all the above parts together with the LCD screen you would have Throttle Position, Engine RPM, MPH, and Air/Fuel Ratio datalogged into the LCD screen for viewing right on the hill or later to download to a computer or laptop.

What are you seeing for improvement on NA sleds i.e. Nytro MTX

I think there is some HP left on the table, and would love to get this if it will help me get 10% or more improvement...

I spent around $700 for a totally set up EGT and temp sensors etc. for my 2smoke, got no issue spending that to get my 4 smoke dialed perfectly...

can the PC advance timing then retard it off of boost refrence like the RB3 can???

Does it fuel off a wideband 02 sensor or do you have to program it?

it has a Wideband module that will interface with the LCD or standalone also...

and yes there is an ignition module as well...

again to me, the cool part is all can be controlled real time from the LCD screen and create and save multiple maps for multiple elevations for those that travel a lot (like me) to different areas and elevations...

7-8 hp midrange and 4-5 hp on top end currently. That is changing nothing else. Add an exhaust or intake modification and it goes up. We will be back on the dyno November 3rd fine tuning more now after having a year out in the field.

Yes you can advance the timing on the bottom end and then have it boost reference and lower the timing on top end or vice versa. You can set your fuel on boost referenced as well. You must program it, it does not read off a wideband O2 sensor.

So your improvements are just cleaning up the fuel delivery? that is pretty good...notice yoru running the excell exhaust...am thinking that is a little large, as I would like to go to a tunnel dump for exhaust...

I take it these numbers were off a dyno last year? What elevation? Any other changes besides header?

That was stock intake, stock exhaust system and about 900 foot elevation. Change the header and silencer and pick up an additional 8 hp from what was in my previous post.

Sounds pretty good. Do you know if Excell is selling there header seperate yet?

Do you provide maps and continual updates (new maps) when a PCIII is bought through you?

ditto Ruffy's questions...

So, what is the damage on the header and the silencer? are you only referencing the Excel silencer? have you played with others? similar gains?

As of right now I do not believe Excell sells the header separate. I am working on an under tunnel exhaust using the Excell header but with center dump in the middle of the tunnel.

I provide maps with the Power Commanders bought through us. You would have to call to see if there is an update available for the elevation, setup, etc as I do not have time to have an email list or an area on my website for the availability of a download. Call, give me an invoice number that you purchased the Power Commander from us and I would be glad to tell you if any updates are available and email you an updated map if there is one available.

Are you using their new one that has a curved output for utilizing the stock muffler? Or do you have the straight back one?

Thanks for the info!

The Excell Vector header basically bolts right on the Nytro and exits right in the center. The Vector header sells for 399 from Excell.

That is what I thought..... though stop telling people, because the used market will dry up quick! :p

Yes. The mounting bracket that goes on the tunnel needs spacers or re-welding but the exhaust spacing and flanges are identical as are the primary tubes and collectors.
