Also FYI I spent all last year running this and the triple doing testing the only thing that is not 100 % yet is clutching on the twin. The Triple is just out right nasty. Trix ed xcr has one trying to get his sled done. He sent me the chassis and I mounted it in a xcr and he absolutely destroyed the chassis and rip the motor mounts right out the the bulkhead. Looks like he will need a new sled. LOL Post some pics Jason

Jason will be joining me on the 26-28 trip this month to watch at DTR with a customers HTG triple turbo I did as well as an rt 1000 promod and Uncle Donny Emery and the quad we almost ran last time..lol

This time we will run it past 6300 rpm ,, Poor Jim was livid when he realized what happened..
still made 400 lbft ,, aiming for 800 hp,,

Your the man giving Jason them damn big pins,, I feel safe but close to the edge pushing these little ones to 500lbft...your's I have no fear of 650-700 lbft ..

Wanna be the first to 1000 hp Brad / Jason ?? ,,with a 2 stroke sled engine ?? We have the technology to do it in hours not weeks or months on this end....Jason will make his mind up when we meet up at jim's.. turbo days right after christmas,,, When we do this Brad,, YOU are coming to the pump party for the big quad !!

Hey Brad don't have a lot of time as got to get to work by 10:15.here are some of the pics of the motor.Sorry gus i couldn't make the dyno session.wifes car 8 a timing shoe adjuster bolt and there went the motor 60000miles WTF?got her a new car MERRY CHRISTMAS JESS!Scott i bugged the **** out of Brad to build a quad i will be the 1st to own.we have talked in depth on this for some time.Yes it will be twin turboed that has been my plans from the get go.My 1640 is also getting some boost 24lbs+.the quad could make in excess of 1200hp easily without a hicup boosted.more if you want to push the bar.Hell my 1640 will be around 750-800hp @ 24psi when gus is done with it.not that the all motor isn't enought but the name fits my profile POWER ADDICTION!!!!!

Gus glad to here from you the other day.we went to indiana to pic up a 01 xcr 800 for a buddy of mine.got down there and the sled was a shiiiit box!so hammered.drive was almost for nothing and then fround one on the way back home in piconning mi. that was flawless and got for 2200.You can thank me later GAVIN!hahaha.i will see you at the shootout on the 14th and 15th gus.i will be taking my stocker there for some raceing and tuning.got off the lake last week with it and the thing flat out rips.100-102mph in 660ft.this little xcr 800 will definatly give some bigger sleds some headaches.spent about 2months straight testing clutching and gearing and when just was about to give up found the secret ingrediant!hahaha.Chassis for the big 1640 will be done in feb. and then off to DTR.Brad is coming and i will let ya no the date when i get ahold of JIM.this will be all motor.then after we can load up on your truck and off to your place for the turbo!I get laid off June 1st till oct.15th so the quad 2200cc will get started sometime late this year after i get back to work.then i hope Jim (DTR) has beefed up his dyno cuz were going after the HP record with a vengence!LOL!Plan on something like 2 monster 40s wineing like jet engines under the hood hahaha!maybe even meth injection for HUGE BOOOOST who nows.skys the limit.we will talk more about it in hayward over some barley pops and race fuel hahahaha!

Thanks Lynn.the pics were done with a chitty walmart camera so they really don't do it justice.you have to see it in person as the detail is absalutely second to none!Brad did one hell of a job inside and outside on this motor.the quad that will be built will look identical in color scheme but will have twin pipes.I hope Mike from CPI gets a turbo pipe built for brads 1100 as then the R&D will already begin before the motor is done.I think i will have brad spin a set of quad pipes also for chits and grins for all motor on alky also.The 1640 with brads 15:1 heads is something to pull over thou.Definately have to eat your wheaties before you grab the recoil and pull..Hahahaha.Hey Brad has mike started on a turbo pipe yet?if you got some pics of the single for the 1100 can you post some?When i get my new chassis i will get some good pics and post.The xcr chassis that brad put the 1640 in was just a mock up so we could get the pipes fitted correctly and CTC dead on.i kinda jumped the gun and decided i couldn't wait for my billet chassis so i ran the 1640 in the xcr (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS) to get rid of the itch to ride it.made 6 pulls back to back on this and to give you guys a good comparison my buddies 1465cc hooper full race motor that dynoed at 326hp and 198ft/lbs of torque is no comparison even with my clutching that was far from being dialed in!I had to let off several times when i dead hooked to keep the sled from going over backwards.even at a 60mph roll and hammer the throttle you can flip this thing over there is just so much power and torque.motor also sounds like nothing i have ever heard.it has a note of its own.i have a msd pro digital 7 and a electramotive full ignition for this sled that i will be testing as well.i will end up thou with the digital 7 as it has boost and timing retard and all the little doo dads that make tunning with turbo and NOS easy and consistant.I am sure Gus will post some pics of the turbo end while he is doing the install so guys can get an idea on what they will look like.Brad by looking at the porting on these motors i think they will love turbos and with the internals being so heavy duty the longivity will be awesome as well.Fawk its hard to type this afternoon.should of stayed away from the yager last night and played one less game of beer pong!:face-icon-small-coohahaha.

threads like this make me glad im single, have no house payments, and looking to get a promotion in the future.

Once thats in place I see no stopping this triple at Jims in just a week or so, soon as the plate arrives it will be installed and back to DTR for a shot at the 500 hp mark..we will stop there so Art can have some shot at keeping this chassis together for the winter..LOL

Gus just an FYI dont use the polaris race mounts the 90duro.the donut style mounts for 99 xcr 800 works best.the hard mounts vibe so much they will foam the float bowls on long pulls.My Xcr 8 did this and it took me a hell of a long time to figure it out.fuel curve was all over the map.jetted fat,replaced seats,needles nothing worked.then i put some lead weights on the carbs and whala problem solved.so i took the race mounts out and threw them in the garbage and went with the donut style stock mounts.it takes a little screwing around drilling the straps or plates out and the bulkhead but have not had one mount break in 6years since i converted over to the old style mount.Also if Art has a WMS torque arm on there throw it away and get one of Nijia plumbers off HCS.Don XCR1250 on HCS also makes a secondary torque arm for your clutch for a very good price.fits all polaris secondarys.WMS are prone to breaking were they mount to the crank case.Let me no when you's go back to jims i can probably make this trip as i really don't have anything going on now that the holidays are over.
