any one running the 1100 in there pro yet


Nobody has one yet other than me. I spent all last year devolping and proving it out before they are marketed. I have sold 8 motors this far (sold) and the engines are finally ready to ship this week. Merry Christmas. I am sure some of these people will post when they get one.

What kinda power we talking here and at what cost? the 8 that u sold, were they all EFI? have u done any testing with a single pipe?

and i think he has been running it with carbs. although i also believe he has been working with vipec (sp?) to get the efi setup. site claims 220hp with the single pipe but not sure which head that is with. $12,000 for the long block. expensive but if money wasn't a concern this is what i would have as soon as it was running good with efi.

1100 turbo :-) now that's got a ring to it!
 
Ok so here the skinny . I have it available with twins 226 hp 146 ft tq . I also have a single that is 207 hp and 144 tq . Almost the same tq but 20 hp less. Very nice fit single for the turbos . One of these motors is going to be a turbo. 2 others are just efi . The rest are carbs. The carbed version is 16 lbs less weight without all the efi stuff. So it is really easy to get a sled to the 410 mark!!!

I need to redo the website as I have changed it a little . The engine is 12000.00 with a complete ignition with reverse. Includes pipes of your choice single or twins ,vf3 , ignition, recoil, .

Efi version is 500.00 cheaper but you have to supply the ignition and the injection off your cfi 4 or cfi 2 injection but includes all the necessary parts to adapt the efi to your engine.

I saw Brad running that sled last year on the 4th of July. It absolutley ripped! It looked faster then a lot of the turbos running there. I know if I had the money it would definitely be on my pro.
 
After seeing inside this motor, and many other aftermarket "high end" motors. This thing sets the bar so high, it is hard to imagine anything coming close to it. Brad has complete control over all the key components that makes this motor special. That is a big deal in the manufacturing world..... Makes the cranks (from billet, not a machined cast crank), the machining on cases, heads, intakes etc is some of the nicest CNC work I have ever seen (Aerospace quality). For what this motor is, a work of art, you cannot put a price on it. But, to each his own as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have not heard her sing, but if quality of components and quality of craftsmanship is any indicator, I am confident those who can afford the finer things in our world will be very happy.

Brad, just don't anodize anything in purple.... please.... LOL

A turbo on one of those? My god. In my mind I have this picture of a sled with flames and sh%^ shooting out of it. I really really hope someone puts some video of that thing in action up.
 
Are these motors going to be reliable?

that is a rather broad question and extremely hard to answer. how would anyone be able to say yes or no when the motors are not on the snow yet and no one has any real miles on them? any answer is a guess at this point but with the reputation and quality of stuff that brad puts out imy guess would be, it will be very reliable. of course reliability has a lot more to do due with the state of tune of the motor and who is doing the tuning than just the motor itself.

oh, and i stand correct on my previous comments. i either did not interpret or read the info on the web site correctly. thanks for the clarifications brad and others. can't wait to see this thing run. sure wish i could afford one with the efi. if i just wasn't building that damn new house.... (hmmm, i wonder what the wife would say about waiting another year...:) ) so are you using the vipec efi system?

I can't wait to ride mine. It's going to be the stock fuel injection with a power commander by the sounds of it. Brad is also doing the fuel mapping and tuning.

I heard that it's an absolute work of art!!! BEAUTIFUL craftsmanship all done in-house.

Description
So, I have some ice racers that want me to build this motor. It would be 2200cc all billet bottom end with 4 each of the 1100cc top end parts. We can make the fireing order every 90 degrees or every 180 . Estimated hp would be more than one would need! Almost 450 hp and over 300 ft tq.

One guy wants to do twin singles on the motor with twin turbos . Now that would be a treat.

Price TBD Expensive I am sure!

If you are interested in setting a land record this one is for you.

HOLY FAWK!!!!!!!!!! Wonder what my wife would say if I told her I was trading our house for a sled motor.
