This is the real deal guys! Powderlites has now designed and developed an ultimate Skidoo 1200 turbo kit that can be used for trail or racing and installed in factory XR or XP plastics. The use of V-Band flanges allow for a quick change of the turbocharger from a trail set up to an all out race kit. Our long tube equal length header is sized to 1.625” OD and features special spring flanges which resist cracking and are easily removable when changing from a GT28 to a GT30 size turbo.
Our innovative water/air intercooled air box features long tube stacks and a large free flowing water core for big torque numbers and the best throttle response on the market. The overall size of our new water cooled air box is small, but we have calculated the intercooler core as part of the overall volume of the charge system, similar to our older air/air intercooled turbo kits.
The short, 2.5” OD aluminum charge tube features a 50mm external blow off valve and a custom spring combines with the water cooled air box to achieve the extremely fast throttle response. The changeability of this set up has allowed us to test some turbos with uncommon wheels and we have now witnessed some of the smoothest and fastest spooling boost performance to date on the Rotax 1200.
This new set up can be installed with the Rapid Bike Racing ECU and My Tuning for the best in added on EFI control, or Motec’s stand alone ECU can be installed for all out race capabilities.
The Rotax 1200 engine is extremely overbuilt for boost and only needs our o-ring head spacer and head studs to achieve 500 HP on the dyno. It does not require cylinder re-sleeving or connecting rods. We also stock low compression pistons built to our specifications from Mahle. These pistons are the finest quality available, featuring the use of the stock pin, custom Teflon coated skirts, hard anodizing, lowered ring lands and anti-detonation grooves. They are available in stock and +0.010 sizes.

I have never understood, why is your header a mile long and loop up and around like that to the turbo??? Is there a purpose for it?

Innovader turbo kit

Long tube headers with larger id for ultimate in power and torque.
Stock log style manifold will not make much more power then 240hp.
Long tube header will not feedback and cause detnonation.
We wanted to make it much the same as race style but able to fit into XP plastics as well XR stock plastics.
