I had just finished up my Stage 2 SC Nytro with JE 9.5:1 piston, carrillo rods, PL cam timing, PL fuel system upgrade and mod Apex injectors. I had decided to run the RB3 system since Gems is not that good. I phoned a day ahead and they told me they were really busy, but they would fit me in.
I showed up at 8:30am and they were swamped, but they said they would get back to me in a couple of hrs when they had chance to look it over. I went and got a hotel room and they called me back in about a hour and told me I had some other problems. I went over to there shop and talk with Dave, Mitch and Darren they help me with some of new problems between there work. One of the problems was the supplied BOV wasn't right for the job so they welded the fitting on for a new Tial BOV and does it work good. When the dust settled it was to late to test the RB3 mapping. They loaded a map for me and said they were going ride tomorrow which was Saturday at Blue Lake. I should ride there and if I have trouble they will be there to help. Anyway I get up to Blue lake and my SCNytro is running very fat in the mid and top end and the PL crew was still at the cabin. I was in luck. I got talking to Darren and he said just ask Mitch to take it for a ride, so I did. He did and 5 min later with a bit of adjusting it was working top notch and not only that, Mitch, Darren and crew took me on a ride to dark depths of Blue Lake that I will always remember.
This just a Thanks, for the what ever it takes service,
Mitch,Darren and Dave at Powderlites
