Carl's cuts out a section in the rear (outside back edge) to allow the skis to bite in better when side hilling on crusty snow, and not jerk the bars out of your hands. They are great skis, call Carl's 208-853-5550.

I think the powder pros have good floatation and have had lots of people tell me that they love theirs aswell. But also it depens on your riding style.

I have run both plus the Mod ski's. Mod is the way to go.......
have a set of powder pros on 02 800 mc work vary good they gave that cat some trail manners. well wirth the money

I used to have simmons on my 1M until I broke one in half. I decided to then try out the powder pro's. They are IMHO way better than the simmons, and they seem to hold a side hill like no other, they are a great ski. Go for the powder pros.

simmion's work great on skidoo's maybe because you guy's are riding heavy sled's??? that might sum it all up?
