Powder Pro Ski Mounting?

I just put my new powder pro skis on my xp and there are two positions to choose from when mouning the skis to the saddles. One position puts the skis about an inch further forward than the other. I mounted the skis in the further forward position. Anyone have experience with what posistion works best for mountain riding? By the way here is a pic from todays trip to the blues. Ye-Haw we finally got snow! Thanks!

I am going riding today and will see how these work. I noticed that the powder pro skis in the forward position are no further forward in the front than the stock skis were, but quite abit shorter in the back. I know Chris Burandt was cutting off the stock cat skis in the back a few inches, might be the same concept.?

I have the same question. I just ordered SLP Powder pros for my 07 Summit, and I will need too know the same. I would like to set it up for better side hilling and mountain riding. Any info would be great. Oh ya, when you say "forward position" do you mean the ski is forward, or mounted in the front hole?

sorry can`t help you on your question, but noticed the pic from the blues buddies and I are from Lewiston too and went to blues today also, had a blast, good powder even though was my first time in that deep of snow didn`t do to bad, finaly have better sled, at least till today, hit a hidden stump and destroyed my left suspension and bent the boards. nice pic, was pushing snow like that today too after got sled running better, have a safe year maybe see you out.

i have the powder pros on my sled and ive ridden with them in both positions and further back is a little bit better in my opinion

Feed back on powder pros, have to better than the stock teater/totters (sp)

Anymore feed back on powder pros, mine go on tomorrow. I will try both postions and give my 02.
