Powder Claw! info on swap

Im looking into swapping my Challenger 151x15x2 with 2.52" pitch for the Cat Powder Claw track. What pitch are these tracks. And where can I get the drivers? I beleive the powder claws are 2.3" lugs. so they should clear with a driver close or just smaller than the 07 800r factory one.

thanks!

The PC only comes in a 3.0 pitch. I am more impressed with the Camo Extreme especially if the majority of your riding is heavier snow. The PC might work a little better in bottomless powder but really how often do you get to ride in that?
You can get the 2.86 pitch drivers from Doo with the whole jackshaft and you won't have to press on drivers and the CE in a 2.86 as well in a 155.
The CE was just as much of a difference as the 840.:)

I've heard so many great things about the PC and a buddy of mine might be able to sell me one locally. I've found Avids PC and attack 20 drivers and they let you select the size of shaft. So I probley will still stay with the PC combo. I have a big wheel kit and if i use the 8t if they'll clear. or the 7t im going to have to take up some slack with the 2" extra

power claw uses the 3" pitch track. just get avids and press them on. you will need to cut the little nubs of on the track but it doesn't take long. I run it on a nytro @ 18lbs of boost with no problems. the power claw track is much more durable than the camo extreme (by far). it works way better than a camo extreme in bottomless powder, but not in set up snow. but thats why you buy a deep snow track isn,t it?

Avid makes special drivers for the PC and A20's so you dont haveta cut the lugs. The drivers are availible in 7 and 8 teeth. I hear with the 7t 3" pitch you can run a 2.5" track no problem. But how close to the origianl gearing would that leave you? anyone know if the 8t will work, and if it'll be closer to the original sprockets or not.

So what is it called?

Power or Powder Claw?

When I saw this thread the first time I ***_u_me'd that it was about an avi survival tool that was marketed 6-8 yrs ago. Kant say that I have heard anything about it in recent yrs. Prolly just too bulky for most to bother carrying.

Either way ....
