Powder Bog - Exhaust Deflector

Had issues last season with powder bogging so I decided to build a larger deflector hoping that it would create a larger trench in the snow when riding in powder. Not sure if it will help our not but I don't think it will hurt anything. Do you guys think it will help or do you think it will cause any problems?

It will help. Keep an eye on it, you don't want it to bend back and deflect the hot exhaust on to your belly pan, it will melt it, I know from experience.
