Like everyone I have been reading all the Avy posts and trying to learn from what is happening. In a few of the posts I've seen pics that I said to myself "I've ridden that before". Just thought that if anybody has any pics of slides they've seen if they were all posted in one place maybe we can all get a better handle on stuff that can and has actually let go. I think by in large most of us are under estimating what can and will slide. Just a thought.

I hope people realize how small most of the slides are that kill people. It is usually just somthing 100-200ft across its not like the whole mountain slides and is unavoidable. These are not the stuff you watch on discovery chanel. The way this year is peeps should expect every hill to come down anytime. Or mabey after a few more people die then it will get through.

Earlier this year, we were passing through at the bottom. We fully expected it to slide and it did so right after passing by the slope. The crown was 6' and it is almost 1/4 mile long. You can see more of it further up the draw.
