Hey guys, Just picked up my first sled. Went through all the maintenance stuff. It all checks out good. Anyhow I'm planning later in the season to hit marble mountain snow park. But I'd like to test out my sled on some easy access roads in case of failure.
After the snow this weekend I'm hoping to go somewhere Monday. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the addiction called snowmobiling! I'm not sure if there's anywhere "close" that you will be able to road ride this weekend... Maybe, (if we are very lucky) it will snow low enough on Mt Adams for ya to get a road ride in. Forecast keeps getting shottier by the hour

Don't ride alone. Leave a trip plan with a responsible person. Nothing
drives search and rescue more nuts then not knowing were to start looking.
I was in Snohomish County S&R for 18 years and know the time wasted
in not knowing were to start.

How will i know if Adams gets enough snow? Will you regulars be posting up snow condition OSRs? Are there web cams and NOAA sites I should be checking? Thanks

There is a website called Snotel and it has snow info about the entire north west. I should have Swe and snow depth for Mt. Adams.
