Possible Missing sledder in Greenwater?

Friend of mine just called......a friend of his went riding with "some club" at greenwater last night and has not returned home.

It's a wierd deal but his wife didn't know who he was going with, just that it was at GW with a "club" for a night ride. My buddy know's I'm on here lots and asked if I could spread the word and find if there was a ride last night so she could get a point of contact so she's not completely in the dark.

any help?

apparently it was for a whistlen jacks ride.....can't believe they would try a round trip in this stuff....

The first thing I asked is if they had called S&R and he said they had, I guess my part is to try and collect any info for her on who/what/where sledders might know. I'm about the 4th person removed from knowing this guy, Burent bolton, so it's not easy to get updated info out of them....like if he came home with a hangover and lipstick on his collar.....but if I hear the story and it's good I'll pass it on.

missing sledder

Hey , Dan from Jet Chevrolet here, We did have a pretty good size gang last night but I accounted for all of our guys, got back at the snopark at 10, I did run into 2 guys just out of the snopark that were heading over to jacks at 10 at night???? I think they were on 2 polaris's,
as a side note, the ride was great , no problem, at least 100 sleds up there yesterdday, all the roads are broke thru, no avy's , trail sucks as the groomer is broke down on the greenwater side, fine on the naches side.

We had a great ride yesterday up there---But the parking sucks as they have the upper 2 lots closed.

Just talked to my buddy......Sometimes you just have to wonder how our species survived all these years....

Dumping record amounts of snow, avy danger super high, very little experience, leave Greenwater at 10pm to do a round trip to WJ and back....they got to WJ at 2am, phone call to the wife at 9 am, had a 5 hour stuck and made it home at 1pm today....

I told my buddy to call him up and ask to go riding in the next week just to remind him of how much fun he had his wife going thru....

So it was the 2 guys I talked to, they asked me few things about jacks how late can you get food, and how late the bar was opened. I thought why would you go over so late?? the trails were fine just beat down, you could have rode over there on a snoscoot (if you like bumps), glad they are ok and made it back,
