Bought a used pontoon, now need a trailer to haul it.
the three most common brands i have found at local dealers are yacht club, karavan, and shore lander. it is a 24 foot suntracker so the trailers are tandem axle that i have been looking at. the yacht club trailer i found at a dealer was $800+ cheaper than the other 2, however the other 2 have breaks on one axle and are powder coated where the yacht club is painted and has no breaks. will be pulling with a ford F-350 so will breaks be a concern? also, all of the trailers i have seen have the small 10' wheels so the trailer sits lower to the ground. would it be difficult to go to the 13' wheels with radial tires if i decided to later on? looks like i would have to move the axle to the bottom of the leaf springs.
any input and experience on these trailers, or trailers in general is welcome
thanks
Tim
