Pollishing the tunnel

Just curious if there is any tricks or hints out there for pollishing the tunnel. I have never done it before and I know a lot of you have. I bought Wizards pollish and it seemed to work well on the rear bumper, but I was hesitant to start the tunnel (looks like a big project). Any thoughts would be helpful!

I took my sled to a place that polishes Semis. They airsanded my tunnel first and then polish it with high speed buffers. It looks awesome it is so shiny that it does'nt even look like aluminum it looks like chrome. The only thing I would reccomend if you take it to a place like that is to have them cover the rest of your sled with something because the dust gets everywhere.

SWEEEET Sled by the way I love the way the 2010 Assaults look.

Wizards polish is one of the best products ive used on my tunnel. Go to wal mart or napa and pick up a mothers power ball will speed up the process. The more you go over it the shinier it will be. When you can see how ugly you are then it is shiny enough.

polish

if it has paint on it jayco paint stripper first then wash off and apply never dull. i bought a small air polisher it works great...apply and rub the never dull till turns black and run the polisher over it...walla chrome ya!!

Looks good but for sure is a waste of time that you could find something else to do that is more productive. It just won't last as long as you would like it to and then you have to do it all over again. I quit doing the tunnel thing long ago.

It's a great, and inexpensive way to be in the shop... and I'd rather be out there than listen to the wife talk smart!

ps- you ride how you look!

I"ve used polish from Mothers to Sledbrite and cannot figure out hoe to make it become like a chrome finish. I have used a powerball but they get dirty so fast its a pain in the @@$ and unsure what to do to make it extremely shiny
