I recently posted a thread letting you all know I have an 04 Jaws pipe and can and if anyone wanted or needed it. Well I have someone interested and he has asked what I wanted for it. Well in the pursuit of fairness (aka socialist agenda ) I thought I would ask the general public.

I would like to poll the group and ask what you all think its worth, please see pics on this thread because there is an issue with the can. I want to give the guy a good deal but I don't want to feel like I am giving away something that is obviously so very light and rare.

So what do you think, I am asking you to be completely honest with me and yourself. Think of it as an organ donation.

for the guy that has a 600 and needs a pipe due to crash or hit by car like my z670.... its priceless! i know i paid waaayyy too much for my 670 pipe just so my wife could get in another ride before spring...

question is how much is it worth to you to keep it laying around the garage and keep moving from point "a" to "b" then "c" and back to "a" time after time?

I've got the same exact thing laying around here... Just keeping it as a spare just in case something really bad happens... !

It's closer to worthless for most guys out there especially considering that Jaws has come up with a 2nd generation pipe/silencer for the 600HO Hawk. Give Rudeawakening a PM if you want a quote on one, he can hook you up with a good deal.

Under all reserve, it's a pipe/silencer combo. I really didn't ask questions on the 600 but that's what the 800HO Gen-2 was. If I were any of you, 600 guys out there wishing they got more power but don't have the dollars to go for a bigger motor, I'd say this is your ticket right there for more horses and for waking up the hidden potential of your machine. I think a good running 600 engine with this pipe clutched right on the target can be good enough for damn sure.

And yes sir, I ran a Thing silencer (or can) from Turbo Al at the Sled Shed last year. Everytime I stop there and we start talking about cans, I'm amazed how far his understanding is on these things... Stuff i'd never even though of... He has tested so many different stuff throughout the years. It's always nice to stop there and I always end up learning something everytime ! Gonna be running a new modified thing can this year with the new 800HO Gen-2 Jaws Pipe (expansion chamber). Sad thing is I'll have to cut the brand new expansion chamber to make it fit in around the wider 14" tracked frame... Gotta have to what you gotta have to do to make it work I guess...

the one thing about hawk parts is that they are getting hard to come by...could his pipe be the next item on ebay in say 10-20 years that could be worth a small fortune??? i wonder how many things i took to the scrap yard that were worth a bundle....

Getting stuck with it is not a problem and it will not lose value. By the way you are in the Snowhawk forum, they don't make them any longer.
