Polished "streak" on crank lobes normal?

Hey guys,
I had my reeds out the other day while working on some stuff and noticed something a little odd looking to me. While looking in at the crank, it seemed as though there was a shiny streak on the crank lobes. This polished streak is on the right edge of the pto lobe and the left edge of the mag lobe. Has anyone else noticed this? Should I be concerned?

Let me know what you think...

I don't know why these pictures are upside down, they load normal on my computer... Sorry

In most cases, the crank lobes will look like complete garbage. all rough and nasty looking, then their will be an area towards the end that is machined off...

The "machined" area is in the center not end of the crank. right side of pto cylinder and left side of mag. I just haven't seen this before but it seems normal from what I am hearing. Thanks guys!
