Polaris Under hood Google bag install help

I was planning on installing the under hood today on my 14 pro rmk and ran into a couple issues. The "support bar" in the instruction uses a hole in the over structure that is not in the carbon fiber.
Since Polaris gave me awesome pictures in the instructions:face-icon-small-con , I was wondering if someone could show me a picture of how this thing is supposed to be installed.
Thanks

I think most people using it on the CF models just get rid of the support bar and run without it. You could tie-wrap it to the bottom of the bar instead of going into a hole aswell.

I ran into the same thing on my 13, I just tucked the end of the rod under the overstructure tube and zip tied it in place.
After a while, the support rod broke. I removed it and continued to use the bag with no problems. I say skip the rod.

Like he said above the rod gets tucked under the over structure on the other side.

The bag needs to be up high on ththe over structure close to the top so the bar reach across and the bag clips into the plastic where the side panel attaches.

That rod just sits under the over structure there is nothing to hold it, the rubber sits against the fiber pole.

Take your time you will figure it out.

Polaris is BRUTAL with instructions on this stuff. The tether I got didn't even have instructions for the newer sleds, it's about 5 years old and the part doesn't even match the instructions, very annoying.

I have an under hood bag that was on my 2012 is the bag the same as the new ones . My had a hook on it also that attached to the front overstructure

Here is how i did it.

Basically like was stated above. I laid the rod over the over structure on top of the velcro and used the rubber rod gromit on the other side of the over structure. Zip tied the gromet to the over structure. Wrapped the strap around the over structure and hooked it to itself.

After reading the rest of these responses, i better check once in a while to see if the rod breaks. but it seems solid . I gunna run it...

I used the rod on my 14, it helps the bag hold its shape. I used a couple rubber bands to hold the the rod to the carbon fiber shafts. Eric

Ditch the rod, it was included at the lawyers request......

Mine doesn't sag at all without the rod, and doesn't even come close to the exhaust.
