Polaris Sportsman owners: How to make one run like crap??

Hafta agree with you 100%. I don't tell noone until it's sittin in my garage!
Gotta remember, buddy aint the brightest bulb in the drawer either. He bought a 21' Chapparal on EBay in MO (he lives in CO). Drove all the way there to pick it up. Handed them the $. Never put it in the water to test it.
Came back, fired it up, block was cracked. Ended up getting the $16k boat for free! Consignmnet dealer didn't want it back and the previous owner was a deadbeat and never balked at the cancelled check. (You're thinkin' "good deal" right about now)
Now instead of calling someone who knew something about boats or engines (like me or a few others I can think of), he takes it to a shop to get fixed. They charge him $10k for R&R and a new Chebby 350 short block. (Coulda had a Jasper re-man long block for around $1200 at the time and maybe 4 cases of beer to make the repair.)
I saved you the hassle of having to do anything. I sent this post to your boss.

Ok so let me get this straight. Your buddy is pretty much a dumbazz. Oh he is soooo in with the bosses wife. Chicks are like moths to a open flame when it comes to dumbazz guys. If I was your buddy I would make sure that wheeler ran tip top so he went out riding more and everytime he was out riding the wheeler he sniped from me I would be over taking care of business with the bosses hottie wife. Who knows, things work out for your buddy and you could be working for him soon. He'll make you his #1. Give you a raise a company car and all because you got this great advise here on snowest. You so have it made now.
I had a simmilar thing happen on an airplane, opened my big mouth and my flight instructor bought it out from under me. Obviously your buddies experience is different but I just chalked it up to a good lesson in human nature.
